3. Local Processing
All PDF-to-Markdown conversions are performed locally on your device's hardware. No files are uploaded to TENJIKOO servers or any third-party cloud providers for processing.
4. Permissions
MarkItDown Pro only accesses the files and folders you explicitly select for conversion. The application does not perform background scans of your hard drive or access hidden system data.
5. Third-Party Services
The application does not include any third-party analytics (like Google Analytics), advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. It is a clean, standalone desktop tool.
6. Data Storage
Temporary files created during the conversion process are stored in your system's standard temporary directory and are cleared upon completion. We do not maintain any long-term logs or external storage of your data.
7. User Control
You have full and absolute control over your files. Since no data is stored on our servers, uninstalling MarkItDown Pro from your device removes all associated application files and local configurations instantly.
